Wizardz joined Tag Rugby® Adopt-a-school programme in 2016 and has just signed up for another 6 months. The school which Wizardz adopted is Chapel Street Primary in Zonnebloem. This school is poorly resourced with limited space but because of Wizardz they have received Tag Rugby® equipment as well as coaching from trained Tag coaches. The children thoroughly enjoy being outside and thrive on the opportunity to play tag.
The tag sessions are a break from the classroom and the children enjoy the interaction with one another and the coaches. The physical, social and emotional benefits for the children are countless.
